10 speed chain

Default 10 speed chain

I need to replace my campag 10 speed chain
and was thinking about trying one with a joining link
either KMC or wipperman connex
any recomendations

My recollection is that the SRAM 89R chain is suitable for use with Campagnolo 10-speed drivetrains because it is a slightly narrower 9-speed chain ... and, of course, it comes with its own 'power link'.

Campagnolo Veloce 10s chain with a Wipperman link..best of both worlds.

Thanx, that sounds like a idea,but would i gain anything by upgrading to a chorus chain.

No. Chorus chain has holes in the side plates for a wee, wee bit less weight but longevity and function identical to Veloce(samo for Record also, BTW. Those hollow pins do nuthin but add $)

I've been running the KMC X-10sl chain with full campy 10spd for the past year and a half. No problems, shifting is slightly smoother actually in my experience.

It is much nicer having a quick disconnect link for routine maintenance and roadside repairs.
