Default Trunk rack suggestions

I'm ready to buy a new trunk rack for my SUV and sedan. I have an old one (5 years old) which now has the bike clamps broken and the straps get loose.
Looking for one that is secure (for bikes and car), does not damage car paint and can withstand longer road trips (say 8 hours). Ideally it would under 150 bucks.
How is the Saris rack?
Any suggestions?

I have the Thule 910:

2 trips from Boston to North Carolina and back, and not a scratch on the Cannondale or VW. Sturdy and well designed.
