Default Pump

Hi there all, I was hoping for some advice on a roadbike pump that will give me maximum psi the pump I have now does only enough to get me home slowly.
Any help would be great.

I like to use a frame pump to initally fill the tire then use a co2 cartridge to boost up the pressure

It sounds as though you have a 3/4 length pump which usually can only pump up to about 65 PSI, as I recall (more than enough for MTB tires).

As suggested, you need a full length, "frame" pump ... some are better (easier to get the air into the tire -- cost isn't necessarily the factor) than others ...

I usually use a CO2 inflator exclusively when on the road. I normally end up with a little over 100PSI from a cartridge which is enough for me. In the shop though, I use a full sized floor pump.

IMO the Topeak Road Morph is the only way to go; it's like a mini floor pump. I have the one w/ built-in gauge.

You can see photo and used in video here. I've pumped tubulars up to 140psi w/ it, no problem.
