I bought Shimano road shoes to go with my Shimano Ultegra SPD-SL pedals about 5 years ago and I've been very pleased with them.

Still work great and are very comfortable.

Best shoes are the ones that fit. You need a road shoe with a 3 bolt attach system(I think you mean Ultegra pedals). Private label from Nashbar, Performance are great shoes as are lower end ones from Sidi or shimano..try them on first if you can, they fit like any shoe.
