Question Gear Advice Required

Hey,
I wanted some advice on the front gears in my bike.
Well, basically the three chains are all there and in place but the changing mechanism is missing for the front gears. So whenever I try changing the gears nothing much happens.
So basically I was wondering how I could resolve the problem if that is possible?
Thanks

The description reads like you have a triple (i.e. three "chain rings" in the front) and the front derailleur (the part that moves the chain between chain rings) is gone. However, having no front derailleur is not so common. Perhaps it is there and just not working? Sounds like you should have it examined at a local bike shop. It is certainly possible to resolve the problem.

What you're saying sounds just a tad confusing. Would it be possible to post a pic so we can be sure to give you the right advice?

When you say "chains' I assume you are referring to the crank set.If the derailleur is missing then nothing should happen.
I advise you find a bike mechanic.

Yep, go to a bike shop, it's what they do. If you don't want to spend any money, they will at least evaluate what's wrong
