Default Brake recommendations

Hi,

I am new to cycling and purchased an 09 Specialized Allez Triple in August. The brakes it shipped with do not seem to do the job. On the specs, it lists the brakes as ultralight dual pivot breaks. What would you recommend for upgrading the brakes: new shoes or new brakes altogether? Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks,
Darrell

New brake pads will do the trick. Swissstop and Kool Stop make good pads.
