I have a Pinarello steel road bike I brought second hand, and I can not get a model for it and can not find a serial number on the frame. Can you help with where to look or who to ask? The Pinarello site has no early models listed. The only name on it is under the b/b "Pinarello Trevisio- Italy". The Columbus sticker reads "Columbus steel" underneath "Fodri Lamiati" on a gold background with white dove between Fodri and Lamiati. The frame tube dia's are: top tube 1.005 ins, seat tube 1.155 ins, down tube 1.135 ins. and the wheel base is 39.125 ins. The rear brake cable runs through the top tube. It has brazed on front gear mount. Mounts on down tube for front rear gears. A pump lug on the back of the head tube. All the tubes are lugged with "P" embossed in them. It has chrome forks and chain stay. Thank you in anticipation, DavidS |

Is your frame tubes the same dia.? I did not know if the BB stamping was just where they are made in "Trevisio-Italy" or that "Trevisio" is also a model name? I have upgraded mine with a campy Daytona triple group, Ritchy wheels etc. spent a mint! yes it realy goes terrific. I am looking at selling it because I don't road ride that much now or swopping it for a good mountain bike (I have two road bikes) Thanks for the reply, Pinarello have not answered my e-mail. DavdS |
