I have recently got back into cycling after several years off the saddle. I bought a fairly decent bike but the one thing that is driving me mad are the pedals. I picked up a set of Look PP357! Initially I found them very loose so I bought a set of red cleats and yeah it make a difference. However, when you really wanna give the bike some welly there´s just not enough ridigity in the pedals. I´m thinking about buying a pair of TIME IMPACT Ti PEDAL, Campy Record Pro-Fit or Dura-Ace SPD-R. The last pair of pedals I had before getting back on the saddle were Time and I thought they were fantastic. The Ti are more expensive than the Pro-fits and the SPD-Rs. Decisions. Help appreciated. |

I recommend the Coombe Pro www.coombe.com as the greatest pedal I've ever used. Simple, well-made and a fantastic cleat system. Great cornering, too. chris ne iowa

Go back to time......the time impact pedals are great.....and you will find you dont have to keep replacing the plastic cleat with the new model....they are much more user friendly for walking on....and the lower end model is just as good and affordable....I have not pulled out of them yet....having done so many times with look models....
