Hi, Has anyone tried a pair of these as "normal" road bars? - ie without any tri-bars attached: http://www.profile-design.com/roadbars_stoker.html They look like an ideal sustitute for flat bars & bar ends (if you have the right shifters) Thanks ian |

Hi Eddie, I thought I had seen bars like this with sti shifters on the ends - but if I had to buy bar end shifters too, I agree, it wouldn't be worth it. I'm looking at these because I can't find a comfortable position on my drop bars - and I'd never use the drop section anyway. I've done a lot of riding with flat bars & bar ends and really like the riding position that gives me. Thanks |

Hi Eddie, ... or I could even use Shimano's flat bar road shifters: http://www.shimano-europe.com/cyclin...526&psid=10525 Pity my other bike has Campag though - still, if I leave it as is, at least it won't look strange :-) |
