Default Miche pedals

I've been having bad luck with my look pedals of late. One pedal doesn't seem to float as freely at the other. And as luck would have it the 'bad floating one' happens to be under my bad left knee! I'm considering switching to Miche. I was considering Campy Record also. But the Miches have a larger surface area. And I've herd of some people complaning of hot feet (mental or not, I'm not sure). Not to mention that Savodelli and Garzelli rode them to success in recent Giro's. Not that I'm as fast as they are, but I'm wondering if they used them because they had to or wanted to. I've also herd that, like Campy, they have a tripple sealed bearing. Any opinions out there?
