Default Embroidered Saddles anyone?

What has been your experience with any of those embroidered 'no-slip' saddles? I have never used one, and was curious to know if the embroidery actually accelerated the wear of your cycling shorts?

it doesn't seem to make much difference - both in terms of slipping and wearing out shorts...

Interesting question. I've never thought about the wear it puts on my shorts. However I can tell you that by looking at my shorts, I can not see any additional wear.

Looking at some embroidered seats I can't help but think the embroidery looks like it would cause hot spots on a person's butt. I don't think the embroidery on my seat has as extreme raise as some seats, but I can tell you that I've never felt it.
