My wife and I share a Minoura Hyper-Mag Trainer and the magnet side gets pretty hot and seems to give off a funky smell of something overheating. The manual has long been lost and I can't seem to find a copy online.

Does anyone know if this trainer needs to be kept lubed or tuned in anyway?

you can go to www.minoura.jp and download the manuals for whatever trainer you have. When you enter the site a install or cancel button shows up click cancel and then you will see 3 CD cases click on teh one at the top and on english and you will get into the site.
