Question Poll: Do you train and race with the same wheelset?

I just splurged on a pair of Zipp 404s for racing, and I'm interested to know how many of you use wheels like this for training, too.

????? Even profs don't train with Zipp404!!!!!!!!!!

Buy a cheap wheelset of $200 or something (Campy Scirocco?) to train on.

the advantage (when you have such an expensive wheelset) is not scre*ing your wheelset!

why do you want to train with zipps? it isn't interesting whether your training speed is 1km/h faster or not.....

and you can use a zipp404 wheelset for years, when you be carefull with it.

I know you have a set of Boras, so what wheels are you using for training?

I love bike stuff. This is my racing bike, but I don't use it much...

-Colnago C40 BStay
-Record 2004+Carbon crankset+Carbon bottlecages+Tit. cassette
-Campagnolo Bora G3 wheelset 2003
-Deda Alanera bar
-San Marco Era Composite saddle
-Shimano Dura Ace SPDSL+SHR-214

Now I'm looking for a Carbonissimo frame (I know it is sick)

My training/normal bike:

-D2 Alu frame + carbon fork
-Wheelset: Fir rim, (the cheapest) Shimano Sora hubs, alloy spokes
-Sora + 105 combi groupset
ITM 330 bar/stem/seatpost

Bought is for $500!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I haven't had any problems with it.

I have Bontrager race x-lites that I use for racing and training. If I'd have invested the close to $1K for a set of Zipp 404's, I'd save them for race day. Just my opinoin, save the spokes for race day.
