Mother Load: Keeping helmets on kids (The Record)

When my youngest rides his tricycle, he wears his Thomas the Tank Engine helmet, matching knee and elbow pads and a smile from ear to ear. It's probably overkill to outfit a 3-year-old like a middle linebacker to ride a bicycle that sits mere inches off the ground.
