Representing Team USA, Michael Friedman earned the gold medal in the menandrsquo;s scratch race at the UCI Track World Cup in Beijing on Saturday. Friedman out rode 24 of the worldandrsquo;s best in the final to secure the overall victory. The first-place finish puts Friedman third in the menandrsquo;s scratch World Cup standings with two events remaining. Becky Quinn also continued her success in the womenandrsquo;s points race with a strong fifth-place finish.
