Default Phosphate Question for Ric

Ric -

I just read your article on phosphate loading. I didn't notice when this was done, and was wondering if you had done any follow up research or testing. I have a few questions:

- What type of dose was used in your study?
- Is this safe (isn't that what's in fertilizer?), Is it legal?
- Any adverse impacts in the days after phosphate loading - ability to train, recover, etc?
- Do you think it's worthwhile for a slightly better than average B category cyclocrosser? The results from your test, I believe, would yield pretty noticeable improvements in my race category/field?
- Where do you even get sodium phosphate?

Thanks for any advice!
