Default Polar OwnIndex

I have been tinkering with my Polar 720 over the last few days, particularly the OwnIndex feature. I have just begun training in the last two weeks, I took about about a ten month break from August to June. When I first started training my ownindex rating was at 62, with an activity level of "top" I do about 5 hours of HARD riding a week). I currently weigh 62 kilos, am 15 years old, and am 1.8 meters tall. Over the last two weeks my OI rating has risen to 63. I was wondering if anyone knew how to factor in different wieghts into this value, since I know VO2 Max is highly influenced by your weight. I was just wondering if that value would be the same when I dropped down to my racing weight of about 58 kilos. Thanks for your insight.

VO2 max in adults is measured as an absolute value (L) or relative (ml per kg) per unit time.

Hi

Weight is one of the factors used in the Polar OI calculation so I believe a drop in weight (combined with continued training) would give you an improved OI
