i have been using the fluid 2 trainer from cycle ops for about a year now, and have noticed that the roller has started to woble more and more each time i use it. when at speeds of 20mph or higher it is very loud. i thought this might be because of using it on a wooden floor. i moved it to a concrete floor, and it still made the noise. its also vibrates vigerously when at speeds of around 10-15 mph, but gets better as i go faster. simular to an unbalanced wheel on a car. i have watched the roller as it is being used before and i can tell a slight woble in the roller itself. i even took the bike i was using on it to a bike dealer to have the wheel balanced and trued, and have also changed the tire and made sure the air pressure is where its supposed to be. so it seems it all points to the roller on the trainer. is there any way to service this? or will i have to have someone from cycle ops look at it? thanks for any suggestions and help! |
