Default Shaving, etc

It just struck me that I have never seen a thread on leg shaving in here! What's up with that? I'm curious to know at what stage people feel the need to shave their legs, and why. And how they do it -- stubble is such a hassle. I shaved when young because, well, eveyone else was and one good crash was all it took to show me why it was smart. But now after 13 years off, and just 5 months into it, I look forward to possibly racing next season if I can just about DOUBLE my average speeds The only thing nastier than those tough training days is the idea of shaving again...

To shave or not to shave? Opinions???
Leg Shaving
I don't shave for no particular. I'll eventually get around to it though.

I have shaved my legs for over 9 years now. It's not that bad if you do it every 5-6 days. I actually just had electrolosis done to them and the hair on my legs stopped growing. It cost me about $300, but it was well worth it. No more shaving for me...at least until my next treatment in 6 months.

Best Wishes,

Been shaving for years since I used to do quite a bit of bodybuilding before I got into serious bike riding, thus it was a natural. Every 4 days or so in the shower with a triple blade razor only takes 5 minutes.

I've never seen anything about the effects of hair on speed or aerodynamics. I thought shaving was better for wound care and massage.

To be honest...I think its more mental than anything. Also, I shave for aesthetics too. My wife loves my smooth legs. In a sick way, I think it turns her on. Anyway...that's my two cents. =)
