after reading the first 3 pages... I would like to think he isn't doping, and that all other cyclists aren't....it wouldn't suprise me if 99% of pro cyclists are doping (or pro atheletes in all sports for that matter ), but if that many are, are they not at an equal level? It's not like saying lance is doping and the other TOP pro cyclists aren't...if lance is i'd have to say Jan, Tyler, Vino, Basso, etc are as well. |

Some fuel for the fire: Amfetamins aren't just for during the race. Steven Rooks for example used it so he could train harder. A common tactic used to be: 1. Amfetamine and train like hell 2. Repair the damage by steroids etc. Nowadays I conveniently imagine a 3d step: Epo. I am also 100% sure Tennisplayers, F1 drivers etc dope... 1. They (can) use steroids to recover from injuries. 2. Extra musclemass counts for every sport (esp F1!) 3. Considering the risk vs. gains it seems inevitable they take the juice. You can win millions and immortality, of course you use everything you can to get that edge. On my stance towards Lance. 1. I believe he (and every other rider) dopes. 2. I also believe he is by far the best Tour de France racer in the field. and deserves my respect for that. These statements aren't mutually exclusive. Why do I believe he dopes? 1. Everyone dopes. Doping is obviously undetectable (!!!) as many pro-cyclists have proven. Considering the stakes it seems naive to say pro's don't take dope. Yes, it's no fact, it's my opinion. 2. I am a broken record: Considering the risk vs. gains it seems inevitable they take the juice. You can win millions and immortality, of course you use everything you can to get that edge. And yeah I am prejudiced. I would sell my soul for the chance of becoming pro (I am 33 year old B-cat and still have those silly fantasies). I would sell more for being succesful. For winning a Tour de France I think the sky is the limit for what I would be wanting to sacrifice. Truth to be told, I think most of us here have or had similar dreams/feelings in the past.

Is their a big word for that? Better yet, what do you call it when someone is so bitter they won't even acknowledge their bioligical father and then leaves his own wife and kids, furthering the cycle of abandonment? You seem like such a smart guy. I am sure you have those answers. |

I agree we are looking at a societal problem, but not all divorce is bad. If parents can't be happy together, how do you think all that sadness effects children, wouldn't they be better off with happy, seperate parents? |
