The pre-made salads are starter kits for meals or side dishes. I always add stuff to them. With it being so hot now, I throw in some chopped up ham & cheese for protein and serve it with a crusty whole wheat roll for dinner. You can also add roasted turkey breast or grilled chicken for different flavors. Sunflower seeds also add a little crunch. Nuts & fruit offer a nice flavor blend with the salad. Try some walnuts & mandarin orange slices. Just right for a light summer supper.
