Default A couple Questions.

When you go on long rides.... how do you carry extra water? or do you just have what you have in your water bottle?

Also, nutrition to keep you going and give you energy on rides, ive heard of people eating sugar cookies to give them energy, whats a healthiar alternative to this?

Please and thanks!

I guess the other posters are too busy talking about drugs and Landis to reply

Depending on where you live (climate) and how long you ride, you may be fine with only 2 bottles of water, but if you're not simply carry some money (back pocket or a wedgie pack under your seat) and stop by a store to replenish. Some people have an attachment to their seatpost that carries 1 or 2 extra bottles, but I think the corner store along your route is the better option.

Bars and gels are popular (Powerbar, Clif, etc.), but people have many things they can bring with them for energy.

Search the threads and you'll fine lots of information on this (just avoid the 'Grand Tours'...aka doping...forum.

What about testosterone will that help? j/k

Is there anything I can make to carry on rinds as a source of energy. What ingrediants are best to give energy?

At the top of this page there is a Articles section. You will find a health and nutrition section which might be helpful.

I noticed an link to something similar from Hammer nutrition a while ago. Maybe do a search for hammer, or check their site, it was very informative.
