1. Use electric clippers to remove the initial growth. 2. When ready to shave, use a good quality swivel-headed razor (eg. Gillette Mach 3) and your usual shaving foam/gel/cream. 3. When shaving your achilles and back of knee, keep the skin taught. 4. Shave all the way up your leg (unless you like the 'hairy underpant' look!). 5. Develop your sense of balance, suppleness and dexterity as you stand on one leg, while the other is propped on the bath, as you twist to get a smooth finish to your hamstrings. 6. Prey for no knicks. 7. Look and feel faster. |

I'll redirect you to this earlier post since I have asked the question too. I did decide to shave and gladly so since I crashed in my last criterium. Unfortunately, I didn't shave high enough (under my shorts) where most of the damage was. I can definately say that hairy wounds are a lot more maintenance than the shaven. My girlfriend likes the smooth, clean look too

I am thinking about shaving my legs, but I dont know about it yet...If I do decide to do it how high up should I go I mean when you just go up and then stop and your legs are all smooth and then all the sudden ....hair! and I do not want to end up shaving my whole body and being like some hairless rodent lol |

Men's razors have an angle right for shaving your face. A ladie's razor is made for shaving legs...non slip handle for the shower, and it's just easier to use with wet hands... do not get a disposable... |
