I have been bicycle commuting for 22 years. I guess this has finally caught up to me. My one knee was just causing too much pain even after months of physiotheraphy. Rest would help but I could still not climb any steep hills. I finally built an electric bike from a kit using an old mountain bike. I now use the motor to help me up hills. I now have 350 kms on this bike. Who knows maybe after waiting out the winter I will be able to return to regular biking. |

It took me six months for my knee to feel better. Finally, I am able to ride again. The older you get, the harder it is to heal :-( Quote:
