Default knee pain resolved with ebike

I have been bicycle commuting for 22 years. I guess this has finally caught up to me. My one knee was just causing too much pain even after months of physiotheraphy. Rest would help but I could still not climb any steep hills. I finally built an electric bike from a kit using an old mountain bike. I now use the motor to help me up hills. I now have 350 kms on this bike. Who knows maybe after waiting out the winter I will be able to return to regular biking.

It took me six months for my knee to feel better. Finally, I am able to ride again. The older you get, the harder it is to heal :-(

3 months of physio while still riding may be your problem. You may be helping it then hurting it.

Have you had xrays done? If you suspect degeneration id get that looked at straight away. Most of the time knee pain is muscular or related to something else.
