My resting heart rate = 53bpm (sitting down here at my PC). I try to ride between 100 - 150 miles per week (depending on how busy I am with work, family life etc). Age +40.

FWIW (and not worth much comparatively as RHR is very particular to each individual), my RHR varies from 53-65bpm, depending on the current level of fatigue I'm carrying. Also, bigger, more muscled individuals will have higher RHRs than smaller, less muscled individuals, all things being equal. Many more variables involved with RHR such that comparison can really only be made individually. 42 years young. Riding 10.5-12hrs/week. |
