Default Medical school's accreditation status on probation

Hello,

One of my relative's medical school's accreditation status
got placed on probation. I would appreciate help in
understanding its impact on my relative's education. My
questions are as follows:

1. Can the probationary status hurt application to
residency programs?
2. Can it impact the ability to take USMLE exams?
3. The length of the probation is two years. If the
accreditation gets revoked after the student's
graduation, can the person still obtain medical
licensure?
4. Is it advisable to consider transfer to another
medical school?

Any help from people with similar experiences would be
appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom

Hi Tom.

If you tell me the school, I think I can answer most of your
questions. I think I know which one it is. Already, most of
your questions can be answered in a reassuring way.
