Default looking for freeride bike

Hi I have been riding road and xc and am now looking for a good freeride bike preferably under 1500.00 I have looked a iron horse sgs expert, and specialized big hit spec. Any comments on these? Could anyone reccomend another company to me?

There seems to almost always be a few used Santa Cruz Bullits for sale on ebay. They kick butt as FR bikes. Take a beating, ride fine, don't cost a bunch (used). http://search.ebay.com/santa-cruz-bu...jsZ1QQfromZR40

There are always some good used Kona bikes around as well.

take a look at a scott nitrous 30, cost £1300. these are good for freeride and DH, but are fairly light (36lbs) which is good or bad depending on your priorities.

Norco Sasquatch is the best hardtail freeride bike ive seen for its price (1399 Canadian, about 1000 american)

Really beefy at 37 pounds and takes a nice beating.
