disk+ 1-2 ft of water =work??????

i was wondering...... do disk brakes still work while the whole disk is under water?
i know that disk brakes still work while wet but not un water.....

Yes, but I didn't stopping was an issue, its pedalling through the water and keeping the bike moving. But I can say over a longer distance like 50 metres.
Why would anyone want to do that? I know I have problems everything my disc brakes get wet. They howl, rub and can seize if silt gets into the pistons.

Otherwise, I'd tend to agree with the above response - the difficulty in deep water is usually maintaining momentum, not stopping. But I'm sure you've got good reason for askin
