Hey folks, My bike is probably worth around £500 - £600 and has some decent kit on it, but nothing spectacular. Unfortunately I have rigid forks and this has been discouraging me from doing some more technical rides. What are the advantages of having shocks?? I am tempted to buy a reasonably cheap pair of Marzochi (sp) forks that have been getting rave reviews as bang for the buck. (they are the 04 exr air fork) Is it worth it or a waste of money? |

Forks are definitely worth the money they make a huge difference in your ability to control the bike's front end over rough terrain and they stop your arms from gettng sore on long rides too
