I'd invite folks to wander over to my blog. This is pretty much a selfless self-promotion, but it's also a project in progress to further work with those acronym enhanced training tools. One of the things that I wish trainingpeaks did was display power file charts in the public displays for their training plans, but having played with it a bit I'm finding out that the access of the power data is pretty server intensive, so I don't blame them. In which case, I figured I'd do it myself.

I tossed together a PMC through my blog profile, and also threw together some charts to demonstrate power files without having to transfer WKO's all over the place.

I pulled the PMC info from the available worksheets and data floating around these forums. I took what my training plan calls for from now until February and forecasted those TSS values, and then added to it some forecasted possible training plans into the end of May (my peak event for the spring being May 3rd). Obviously a whole lot can change between now and then but it will be an interesting study for me to examine where I am and where I'm going along the way. I'll later begin to mark-up the chart for races/events.

There's some flaws in the system still and a whole lot of work to be done on the ride file display, and any suggestions folks would want to make would be appreciated.

Soon to follow for all the powertap displays will be all the pertinent data that one might find in the standard charts (power/hr by zones and tables with the pertinent ride data). I'll eventually expand this function over to http://www.cycleanywhere.com and add uploadability on a daily basis for my training rather than just files I (or my local ride folks) would find interesting to discuss.
