Default bontrager aeolus 5.0 clinc + PT SL 2.4

I checked the search and couldn't find anything. Does anyone own a Bontrager Aeolus 5.0 (clincher) wheel with the PT SL (2.4) wireless hub ? I am trying to get feedback with regard to that wheel choice for a light, aero, everyday wheel (instead of a Zipp 303) that has a PT hub ? Thank you for your help.

$2000+ for a wheelset seems a tad pricey for everyday use. What would you put on for special occasions?

Saris doesn't list the SL 2.4 as being available in a 16h configuration.

Yeah, I don't think I would buy one at retail price.
I saw one listed on ebay. Apparently, there is a special black SL hub made for Bontrager.

Does Saris do warranty coverage on ebay purchases (e.g. if the hub has data drops) ?

My understanding is that the wheel has not been released yet. But I do know that Bontragger get the Hubs from Saris un-drilled. They then drill them to cater for the hole count and the paired spoke pattern on the Aeolus wheels.

I'm waiting for my set - Aeolus 5.0 full carbon clincher with built in 2.4. Only about a 100g heavier than the tubby version - can't wait!!

Just saw a pair in San Fran @ Lombardi SPorts. The wheel is beautiful looking and feels real nice. The sales rep said it was very durable and could potentially be used for training and racing. He offered me to test ride a non PT pair which is mounted on a Cervelo SLC-SL (sweet).

No one has any experience ?

I think this is going to be an awesome wheel - mine is on order from local agents here in S.A.

I have a set of 404 tubbies which I race with, but I think these are going to be brilliant for races when I don't have backup vehicles, as well as using these as buckup wheels when I race on the 404's - can't wait!!
