Default Elite RealPower CT Trainer

Does anyone have any experience with this product and how it compares to the venerable Computrainer?

Haven't tried it but I do have the Elite RealAxiom V2 and I love it! For the money I paid ($450 new), it has been everything I hoped and more. Just couldn't justify spending the serious coinage on a Computrainer ($1500+) when I'm nothing but an amateur seeking glory and not making a living riding my bike. The V2 is consistent from workout to workout, more than accurate enough for me (I'm not a pro), provides accurate stats for the metrics I'm interested in, and is still going strong after 18 months of almost daily use.

Now for the money Elite wants for the CT model ($1799 retail), I'd personally go with a tried and tested Computrainer. The bugs have been ironed out of the Computrainer and I'd imagine Elite will have some bugs with the new generation CTs...I wouldn't want to be a guinea pig for that kind of dough...

You're probably right, but I was surprise to see it on Performance's website, then was curious that I couldn't find any reviews.

Not much of an apparent improvement over my $450 Elite RealAxiom V2...alas, they probably know "there's a sucker born every minute"...For that ridiculous price of admission - can you say Computrainer Lab?? I know I can...
