Default powertap 2.4 problem

The display showed "lowbatt" on my 2.4sl ,so I replaced the battery with a brand new energizer battery and the only thing the comes up now is "apidc" at the bottom of the screen??? Ive tried to hold both mode and select at same time, it just diplays "apidc" or"rpidc" has anyone ran into this???

Agree with the advice here. I found the firmware update as critical to fix the issue....

Good luck. It drove me nuts until I started to straighten that out.
