The result was roughly the same as last September. Considering that I haven't done any VO2max, mostly grinding away at L3/L4 indoors, I'm very encouraged. So for the purposes of setting training zones I'll set my FTP @ 270 W. Except that I gained a kg. |

Edit: I just noticed that KP lost some power in the off-season, so here we go again again. Last edited by Piotr; 01-22.-2009 at 09:12 PM. |

Unofficially, using the power derived that the above mentioned M(g)onad test and current weight: 305W... 82.6Kg...3.69 W/kg It's creeping up there as I've been losing about 1lb per week. Christmas/New Years got in the way a little bit though. I'll pop something up there with everyone else in about 6 weeks when I actually do test. One thing to note is that this is in a position that was radically changed in the past two weeks, so I'm not sure if I've adjusted too it or not yet. The saddle's been moved back ~2 inches (or ~5cm and moved from my old 76 degree timetrial/crit bike to a regular road frame) and the bars moved down a bit too following the new found flexibility thanks to a wonderful Sports/Massage Therapist at Psoasbodyworks in San Francisco (shameless plug). Speaking of which, I'll be going downtown tonight to pay them a visit I think I've been spending as much time stretching these past two weeks as I have been riding. |
