Cunego just won a mountain stage of the Vuelta earlier this week...the lone survivor of a breakaway...2min35sec ahead of the second place rider. I'm just saying.

He might have done so earlier in the year with a PM. And ridden more consistently. He's never really lived up to his brilliant early form. Quite why is not for me to suggest.
