I have found the previous reviews to be very accurate.

I received the product very quickly and found it very easy to set up.  I don't usually read directions and this time it didn't come back to bite me and I didn't have any parts left over.

The stand fits every wheel size and is very stable for such a small stand.

I will use it in the garage as well as carry it with me when I travel to events.  Leaning my bike on my truck, on a tree, or on the ground is a thing of the past.  I will also use it to hold the bike for simple adjustments, chain lube, and overall cleaning.

This product lives up to the claims of the manufacturer.  The test of any product for me is not that it does what it is intended to do, but will it perform beyond the manufacturer's specifications.

In my business people always seem to push everything I build to the limit.

This product passed 2 of my "out of spec" tests.

1.  I was concerned that the stand would stress or rub carbon fiber aero rims.

My road bike has Zipp 303's on it and I've included a photo to show that the stand doesn't even touch the carbon when adjusted properly.

2.  I also have a bike that is slightly under the recommended size limit.  Again I was pleased to see that the stand was able to adapt.

Great product...now if I could just get about 4 moresmile.gif

Pros: Easy to assemble, Secures the bike better than other floor stands, Greater weight than other similar stands, Can be used for minor maintenance if need
Cons: None

I jumped at the chance to review the EZ Bike stand. I didn't receive it as quickly as some of the other reviewers, but it didn't disappoint me one bit. I have to keep my bike in my bedroom, so naturally a bike stand for the floor was a requirement. I bought this stand http://goo.gl/rBWuH back in April it was a decent stand. The Z Bike stand is in another league. It is a heavier stand which I prefer and it also secures more of the wheel. I was never 100% comfortable with my old stand as the bike would start to lean on occasion. All in all, I feel much more comfortable leaving my Felt F3 in the EZ Bike stand opposed to my previous stand.

Pros: Easy to assemble, Secures the bike better than other floor stands, Greater weight than other similar stands, Can be used for minor maintenance if need be. Only $50.00

Pros: very easy to use, accommodates all tire sizes
Cons: none

Bottom line:  I can see that the EZ Bike Stand will get lots of use.  I like how easy it is to move (much easier than my work stand)  and the fact that it fits my big 29er wheels is a plus.  I did find that the big 29er tires due to the width made the bike a little wobbly but even rocking the bike would not tip it over.  The stand weighs in at just under 6 lbs so it is light enough to move around but has the weight needed to keep the bike upright.

I also was able to use it inside the back of my mini van for my son's bike.  This was nice as his bike is too small for my rack and I normally have to lay it on its side, which takes up much more room.  I also have a fork mount set up for inside my van but with the lack of quick releases on youth bikes it is not usable.  Next summer when my youngest son is old enough for the MUP rides I can see myself getting another EZ Bike Stand with the EZ Connector so I can stand up both bikes in the back of my van and hang the adult bikes outside.

I will also start to take this with me on rides that I need to drive to.  It will work great for holding my bike while I pump up tires or lube the chain.  Much better than leaning it on my van and having it fall.

Pros: Well built, easy to use, many uses, small enough that it will pack in a car without taking up much space
Cons: None

About a week ago I committed to reviewing the EZ Bike Stand.  Upon my commitment I fully expected weeks before I would actually receive and have to type a review for the product.  As typical I would be wrong, EZ Bike Stand got me the stand within 3 days from the time I committed to reviewing the stand, I really was not aware that mail could actually work that fast.  My instructions were to spend a week with the product and then give my opinion, after 5 minutes I was ready to write my review.

This thing was really just that simple, one bolt, one screw, and adjust to a tire width that fits, front or rear wheel the bike sits perfect.  The width can be adjusted in two seconds to fit everything from a road bike with the narrowest of tires to a mountain bike with the widest of tires.  This product is, is well built, I could take a sledge hammer to it and not phase it.  This bike stand can serve a multitude of uses you can use it to simply store your bike in the garage, basement, or for those who like to show their bikes off and have understanding wives, the living room.  You could also easily pack it in your car to use as a stand at a race or a ride while you unload the remainder of your gear.  On top of all of the obvious uses, if you place the front wheel in the stand you have full control over the entire bike, which means you can lube or do whatever I want to the bike with two completely free hands.

Ok, so I am fully aware that there are tons of companies that make such a product, some of them may even be less expensive than the EZ Bike Stand.  So what sets EZ Bike Stand apart?  I doubt that any bike stand has the combination of build, ease of use, and compact enough to take up little space when traveling.  Also the guys at EZ Bike seem like they are probably pretty cool guys, the directions are full of light hearted statements like “Do not sit on the bicycle while in the EZ Bike Stand…we believe in lowering health care costs” or “Do not use the EZ Bike Stand to support a bicycle in the back of a moving vehicle; especially in the back of a pickup truck…you will absolutely regret this decision”

At the end of the day, the EZ Bike Stand is pretty sweet and easy to use, be it that you are using it to hold your wife’s bike or hold your bike while you tune the rear derailleur right before a race.  For the price it is a must have, and good luck busting it.  If you do wear it out or bust it, my money is on EZ Bike to make it right….
