Got these on sale at an Izumi outlet.  The padding is great - wicks well with zero bunching.  I can ride these all day long and forget they are there.

Would be nice if they had a little pocket like the tri shorts though.

I have been finding that PI garments wear out faster than my other gear from Specialized and Voler. The gel gloves particularly go fast both in the stitching and the loss of gel padding.
The black stitching on top of the gel pads of the fingerless gel gloves did do off pretty fast. I melted the frayed ends with a lighter and all is well. The pads are stiched in around the perimeter of the pad so they stay on the glove.
What sort of wear are you getting out of the other PI stuff?
First, let me say that the shorts are very comfortable to ride in all day. I have the P.r.o. and the Elite. What hasn't worked out so well for me is the elastic in the legs. If I am going to ride a cold day with leggings, then I now have to wear Voler or Specialized shorts for the leggings to stay up. This is true for each of the three pairs of PI shorts I have.
Agree. I've abandon the leg warmers altogether. Went with 3/4 tights and ski socks. Those stay up.
Good idea. I'll try it.
