___________

The ‘Operacion Puerto’ doping scandal that rocked cycling on the eve of this year’s Tour de France, may have its roots in Germany.
Spanish daily “El Pais” reported on Monday that the illegal substances allegedly supplied to cyclists originated from a German doctor. The so far unnamed doctor sold the substances on to Dr. Eufemiano Fuentes, the Spanish doctor at the heart of the scandal.

The Spanish investigators dealing with the affair are now said to be working with authorities in Bonn, though German authorities issued a denial of any co-operation.

“El Pais” also said any possible links are also being investigated between Tour de France winner Floyd Landis and Dr. Fuentes' network. It was announced that the Phonak rider tested positive for testosterone after stage 17 of the Tour, and the results of his B sample are due on Monday.

The paper also claims that Spanish police have taken the necessary steps to put a definitive end to the actions Dr. Fuentes' network, after the doctor was said to have let his clients know that they would be able to continue receiving substances in Germany after his arrest.

White boy posts trash. Enough said. He's such a master of misinformation that he's probably neither white, nor a boy.

Not so fast there is somethng in this... translation from German EuroSport

"The American had declined to participate in previous weeks race in the Netherlands. Several teams said at that time, Landis had traveled for treatment in Germany. The investigators are asking now whether the American was treated by a doctor under investigation, who has a connection with Fuentes. "

CyclingHeros or BauerFan can you better my translation ?

So your title of this thread was either an intentional lie or you need to take a reading comprehension class. LOL

Important to know is that El Pais says that the Guardia Civil works together with the state prosecuter of Bonn on the case, the state prosecuter of Bonn denied.
