You better not be, because, I don't know if anyone's mentioned this before, and I hate to make a personal attack, but you kinda look like a dog.

Poor guy, someone even accused him of having a "Fat Face" the other day. The guy can't win.

I think it would be Vaughters.

Nothing new here.
How nice of Frankie and his wife to hang Lance out to dry in hours and hours of depositions--and he was the one doping. Interesting I think Frankie denied under oath ever having doped himself, cant recall for sure.

So if you had doped as a professional rider for years, why would you go out of your way to testify about a teammate who you really dont know if he doped or not? WHy would you get caught up in a cops and robbers insanity that Frankie did? What a desperate guy and a tool.
I feel bad for him. He doped just to have a job.
But now his wife is still out in the press blaming Lance for Frankie doping, literally. Nice touch Mrs Andreu.

Read velonews.

Lance, it seems to me, has refused to talk about the topic of doping at all, as he didn't want his name associated at all with the topic. However, with the straits that professional cycling finds itself in today, I think it would be important for Lance to talk about his knowledge of doping among the peloton over his years as a cyclist. It wouldn't be necessary to name names. It would also be helpful if past riders, such as the announcers Phil Liggett, Paul Sherwin, and Bob Roll talked about their experiences (e.g., amphetamines have been abused for years, although I'm not certain what was illegal at their time). It saddens me that a great sport like cycling is suffering because it tests so strictly, while other sports which have weak testing procedures benefit from not having doping scandals. And why is cycling picked on first and most prominently in the Spanish Puerto scandal if they claim that other sports are involved? If a prominent footballer is implicated then certainly Europe would at least forget about the problems in cycling for awhile.

Haven't you heard? There was no doping on Lance's watch. Anyone who says there was is trying to destroy cycling.

Yeah, true. But I'm not the only one. Lwedge looks an awful lot like a dog too! He's right though. I've been getting picked-on about my appearance a lot lately...

Well, to be honest and open, I've been a little upset after I won the seventh stage at the Vuelta and I waved to you and you didn't wave back.

But I just looked at the picture and you are waving, so... my bad.

Haha! That's beautiful! Only I wasn't waving. I was trying to get you to give me a swig off of that 40. But you completely ignored me. Too busy basking int he glory I suppose.

I particularly resent the SI article characterizing cycling as 'dirty'. All sports are dirty, cycling is at least making an effort to combat drugs. Why aren't the hot investigative reporters like Walsh and Ressiot going after the footballers involved with Puerto? Normally, a thinly kept secret like that is a magnet for the muckrakers. Anyone care to guess what would happen if the World Cup champions were put through a typical cycling dope control?

It's a shame that the belated but much needed efforts to combat PEDs in cycling are turning it into pro sport's sacrifical lamb. If that's how a cleanup effort will be interpreted by the media, the rest of the sports will be motivated... to keep sweeping it under the carpet.

I think the article is right on, but like you said other sports are dirty too. It would be nice to clean up other sports since most except for maybe curling and bowling are drug-ridden.

Oh, it's also refreshing that all of these naive idiots on this site are finally being forced to learn that their heroes are in fact admitting using drugs...

Look, Meek, the people on this "site" as you like to call it, know these riders well from the posters that adorne the ceilings of their bed rooms and interviews on TV and if some Lance or Jan knob slobber says they didn't dope then goddamnit they didn't dope.

Deal with reality... for a change!

You're right, my fault. I'll go re-read Lance book(s) right now so I know the truth.
