You had to make this up......I am not a Landis fan, and I think he is guillty, but Lefevere has lost his mind.... I think he see's the noose coming around his neck....... Especially after his boy admitted what he did yesterday...... and didn't Lefevere admit doping himself??????

Prediction........ Lefevere will be the biggest doping story of 2007.....

The sport is taking on a very surreal feel to it......

Lefevere does not even go to the races.......He has such a bad heart he let's his assisitants handle race day. I wonder if the reason he has a bad heart is because of the few times he used the dope.....????/

How long before rumours swirl around Big Tom Boonen? He's already on the defensive in Qatar (I didn't know ... JM must have "only" doped in the last year .....).

Innocent or not everyone is now presumed guilty by association.

Sad for the sport

My favorite rider is Boonen. {Zabel..... But that is a given] I just have this funny feeling about him. Several months ago, wasn't there a report or something that targeted Boonen????? A politician over there or something? Anyone remember that??

I just read this...... Sometimes I wish the riders would just shut up......

TomB......
Qoute.......
Museeuw and Boonen raced side by side in 2003 and 2004 and shared many glories, so there are feelings towards the retired Belgian cycling legend. Wednesday's confession by Lion of Flanders left an impact on the younger champion, one of hope and confusion.

"I think that he did well to confess," Boonen continued. "It is the first pass for rehabilitation. But it is not enough to cast a shadow over his entire career, since they were referring to only one year and, practically, his last year."

His quote should read: "I think that he did well to confess," Boonen continued. "It is the first pass for rehabilitation. But it is not enough to cast a shadow over his entire career, since (we were all doping in those days anyway)."

That was Belgian politician Jean-Marie Dedecker (the instigator of the Lefevere story according to the interview on Velo News - http://www.velonews.com/news/fea/11517.0.html ) claiming he had proof that several well known Belgian cyclists were dopers (imagine!). He didn't mention Boonen but as Tom is the golden child everyone assumed it was him. Lefevere leapt to Boonen's defence. Master stroke. Fuels the 'it must be Boonen' fire when actually it's old Don Patrick himself who is the star of the show.

Interestingly there was talk of law suits against Dedecker at the time. None have been reported.
