robbie ventura isn't just the ultimate vs. tool, but thwe biggest ool i've ever seen. somebody get that guy a pair of sunglasses, a longer set of vocal chords, and a clue.

I'd like to see the real Bob Roll as a commentator. The guy with the mutten-chops and the obscenity laced Velonews columns. Not this polished up guy on the TV now.

+1 He had some great columns. The guy who trained for the Giro by herding cattle on his bicycle would be a lot more interesting than the moderate, neutered Roll we have now.

Bob's hand gestures annoy the hell out of me. They make no sense. The other day he was saying something about a guy attacking and he pinched his fingers together like he was picking something up and moved them back towards him to emphasize attacking?!

Roll has his own sign language. No one completely understands it. I think he was telling you the rider was ripping someone's pickle off.
