Well...I don't equate dominant with independent. Independent is good...dominant is scary. The best is when neither person feels like they have to be dominant. Of course I say this carrying a whip...

Yeah...its a pretty weak division. Hope they can cause a few upsets in the play-offs. But we've really struggled playing away games this season. The team reckon its the time difference but it might help if they went to bed before 3:00am.

Good point. Neither do I actually. Independent was more along the lines of where I was going. You should know, little miss Independent () (sung to Kelly Clarkson tune btw). And, Crankyfeet actually brought my point home anyway. They think they want an independent woman, but it actually takes a rather strong man, with a lot of confidence in himself to be able to handle having a truly independent woman of equal or greater intelligence than himself.

Sounds like your pool of potentials was limited to geniuses and really strong bright guys. It would be interesting seeing you girls sparring in argument together after a few drinks.

Oh and here's another two cent Crankyfeet secret to a happy relationship. Learn to let the other person have the last word. Without feeling like you've lost the argument/point. I've found that's a lot easier to say than do.

It must be hard being really smart as a girl and having to put up with most of the chauvinistic men and boys who are too insecure to consider being in a relationship with you. "It takes a strong man to be with a smarter girl" - is that why jocks are typically strong, and nerds are typically weak - its evolution?
