Cranky, don't take me so seriously today. Honestly, I'm merely throwing in a bunch of bs without offering much in either of these threads today. Really just talking to hear myself talk.

I haven't even followed the cross-dresser posts/history in detail. So, I have no idea. My only point was that the posts sound so canned and cliche . . . almost like "this is too stereotypical to be real" kinda thing, if that makes sense.

Could be a crosser for all I know. I don't much care either way. I always say, to each his own. It takes all kinds to make the world go 'round. Feel free to do what you want, as long as you aren't hurting others.

And I don't really care if he is a cross-dresser.

However I do care if all the **** about his bike inventory, job, assault felony, high gas-mileage car, and now being a borderline transvestite... that he has posted over the last 1100 posts ... is real... or if it is just some role-playing game he has dreamed up to irritate people and get responses/attention.

The picture is a good test of his true game. If he doesn't produce a picture, it will call into doubt the entire sand castle that he has built about himself in this forum. But given that he has given a valid username in the other forum, etc. if all this is just a game, it makes things more ominous.

Yes... he could have ripped off the picture to use as his avatar... and pretending that he is a lady on that make-up forum fits in with him possibly pretending that he is a douchebag on this one.

But I think he is legit (though he probably lies a lot as well... including dress sizes). I think he is a psychopath... but not a dangerous one like a serial killer... just someone who doesn't have any empathy whatsoever as to what others are thinking/feeling... and lives in his own little weird and guiltless world.

Heck, I don't know. But when some soccer parent now tells me how dangerous hockey is, like they love to do, I can at least inform them that soccer is more dangerous and hockey isn't even on the list.

Oh, kids definitely get hurt in football...a parent is required to stay at practice in case they get hurt. Which is just great when they practice almost every day in August. And in an hour we go to the first day of NFL camp. It's too hot to even watch them... Poor kids...

Why can't you just sign something that gives them authority to call for an ambulance, or for a more minor injury... call you, the parents... or a designated emergency contact if you're unavailable.?

I think it's because in the past, there was one time some kid got pretty seriously injured and no one could be reached. They are a bit more relaxed in this club, as a lot of us parents know each other and can get a hold of each other, we're going to kind of take turns being the one who sticks around.

This isn't going to sound very nice...but there are a lot of kids playing football in particular...that don't always have the most, um, responsible parents. Not the majority by any means...but it's different from other sports from what I can tell. Last year we had a kid miss practice because..oh, his dad was getting arrested...

Oh... so when you say a parent has to stick around... you don't mean a parent for every kid.

It was BS about Oz, C. I was trying to be funny... but realistically... there is probably less tabloid media in Oz from memory (and less BS for that matter)... than what I've found elsewhere. So the attempted humor was a play on the Oz stereotype of the convict offspring... but it just presents a false picture IMO about the culture.
