It is hilarious. If you hadn't watched walkers since you were a kid... and you just saw it for the first time...you'd be going... "WTF????"....

Sweet. They are talking about the one USA walker. The poor bastard is is at the back, 50th out of 51. Apparently he has the typical sob story.

Those guys should be looking in Bejing. The French shaved a bigfoot and entered him in the Olympics.

Did you see the guy they yellow flagged for having both feet off the ground? He was practically jogging....

And it would be great if for once the guy was coming 50th out of 51 and he was competing out of his socks. I guess we wouldn't be seeing it on TV then. I bet half the sob story is from the TV executive who championed this guy for air-time...

It just looks so incredibly gay. They all walk like women.

That Russian walker who poured on the speed to move up to the fourth or fifth position looked like he had something wrong with his lower legs. He had a sort of rubber leg action going.

Have you seen Alain Bernard's head shape? The top of his head is like the bow of a boat. It's like he's had a surgical implant to make his head pointy.

Nope. I'll have to google some pics.

I really want to see what the sprint to the line looks like in this walking race.

Do you think these guys walk around the mall the same way?...

I'll give you first pick. Which guy do you think is gunna win?

I just realized... you could be an hour ahead of me... probably not.... there's only 6km to go.

2087 for me... the white outfit with blue stripe down the side of the shorts.

There's an Aussie guy I think. I might have to include him.

I'm going with the Russian. He showed an impressive surge of speed. He is looking tired, though.

I'm not sure who's going to win... but usually the guy who wins these races just walks it in...in the end...

The aussie is making his move.

The pack is thinning out. They're dropping like flies.

What the hell is with this crap of keeping the spectators twenty or thirty feet back? These spectacular athletes need more encouragement. The need people pressing in and yelling at them like on Alpe D'Huez.
