I didn't guess that it was you, but as I mentioned before, the timing made it almost obvious it was one of us, rather than some outsider. And I agree with Cranky and Frigo's comments that it is unlikely for someone to start off being extremely hostile. You got some good feedback at least on how to be a successful troll.

But also, you are up against a crack team here, who are able to unmask many trolls. Best example is the character carbonguru (the thread Bro posted in the best posts thread) who apparently racked up a few hundred posts answering questions before embarking on the advertising/spamming agenda.

It is also interesting that they have polled the nation assuming a Hillary vs. McCain... and an Obama vs. McCain Presidential battle. And Obama wins against McCain by about 8 or 9 percentage points, whereas Hllary wins by only 3 percentage points... which is within the pollling margin of error. Apparently Hillary gets smacked in the male demographic.

How does Edwards' delegates fit into this? It seems like he would be more likely to throw his support behind Obama at the convention than Hillary.

Hey... if its annoying people... I'll consider changing it. But then again... the mimbos I've had up before this one may be even more annoying...

It's definitely very quiet in here since N and C went on vacation. They are going to be ego boosted on their return when they find out that the thread grinds down to a pedestrian saunter in their absence. And also pleased that they don't have many pages to catch up on....

No worries Frigo! In any case, this is the only forum that I read/participate on a regular basis. I don't check forums such as DPF unless someone posts a nice thread over there...

It might be psychology. Have you ever read Tintin comics? There is one where Captain Haddock (who has a nice beard) is asked (I forget the name of the villain character who asks him this question) whether he sleeps with his beard over the sheet or under the sheet. And guess what, Haddock is unable to sleep for a long time because he is trying to figure it out.
