Another application of that technique can be used on the golf course. If you want to disrupt the kinnetic flow of your oppponents nicely choreographed swing... just ask him if he breathes in or out on his downswing...

Okay... I'm taking a week's avatar vacation. This better encapsulates my maturity level and the quantity of crap I'm about to unleash on the forum...

Just remind me to change it before NNS gets back or I'll have some grief...

I really am out of my league on the political strategy front. However, it seems as if you are correct. I think Edwards and Obama is a powerful ticket. Edwards got crushed in the primaries. But you can't have a successful ticket without somebody representing the south.

Frankly, I suspect that neither Hillary or Obama would select any of the other candidates as a running mate. I just can't figure out who it would be.

Colin Powell would support Obama... but it would probably be a waste having two African Americans running together... if you are trying to nullify the racial issue. So that also rules Oprah out ...

No. I think the racial issue plays in favor of Obama if he can get by Clinton.

My new song for the week is Heart of Gold. A bit boring. But the guitar teacher is a Neil Young fan. So, I am humoring him.

I never saw that film documentary (Heart of Gold) that came out a couple of years ago. Was it any good?

I don't think Edwards will be the VP nominee. He couldn't even win his own state, and Obama did really well there. As Kerry's running mate he was not very effective. He should have been doing the same thing Cheney does: Hitting the other side so the top of the ticked can remain above the fray. Instead he played nice.

Obama can offer Edwards a choice cabinet position, something like Attorney General.

Obama needs to choose a moderate white guy to run as VP, and he has to come from a large state like Caifornia, New York, Texas, etc.

Well Texas would cover somewhat the need to placate the South. Are there any Dems left in Texas though??? What about Lance Armstrong??

I don't think that either Texas or the South considers Texas to be the South.

And Bro... I don't get the California New York thing. I know they're big States... but the Dems could probably win them in the next election with Michael Jackson as the running mate, couldn't they??
