I think there are lot of people like me who are sick of both the Bushes and the Clintons. I think most independents feel that way.

I don't agree with a lot of Obama's positions, but it would be nice to see something completely different at the top.

I have to agree on all points there. I like McCain, but I can see the draw of Obama. The reality is that whoever wins is inheriting a **** sandwich that just about nobody can digest.

Or maybe we're getting older and more perceptive each election.

Yea, it was your neighbor's dog, but history suggests you should not listen to his philosophy or directions.

That reminds me of that true story where the neighbor of the parents of a bride was asked to do a home video of the daughter's wedding. When the whole family was gathered after the wedding and honeymoon to watch the recording, they played the video. To their shock and horror, the first 15 minutes of the tape was the neighbor making out with the parents' dog. Seems he'd forgotten to erase an interesting lewd act before starting the wedding recording...

Obama is ahead in the Maine count.

Not a good weekend to be a Clinton.

But she still has the overall lead, right?

Ok, just read in the news that she has replaced her campaign manager with longtime adviser, Maggie Williams. Maybe she is getting worried.

I tuned into some of the sunday morning political recaps and it seems like every media outlet has their own way of counting. With the super delegates she is ahead, but it's hard to see how the regular delegates and number of votes stack up. I think some of the media are counting Florida and Michigan and some are not.

The difference is now very slim. I suppose Edwards still has the delegates he accumulated before he fell below threshold.

I am surprised that Obama now has the money advantage over Clinton. I always figured that would be the big advantage of the Clinton machine she inheritied from Slick Willy. But she got killed in fundraising during January. Something like $32 mil to $13 mil. She just had to loan her campaign $5 million.

I guess it's better than that poor SOB Romney, who poured more than $50 million of his own money down the toilet.
