I don't know anything about Vaughn being sick. He posted a few days ago.

The moderation may have loosened up a bit. Whether that is due to fewer mods doing the moderating or a conscious decision to make the forum more open, I don't know. Steve is still moderating. Another moderator, who I have not seen before and who only has about 250 posts, posted a few days ago, warning people.
