Has anyone noticed that ever since the pretty avatars went up, you are all of a sudden concerned about people looking over you're shoulder. I mean enough posts by myself on the page, and it looks like I'm posting on a gay forum site.

Don't confuse the genders E-D. Bro Deal's was an error. I've had enough trouble with Klodi as it is. And TFF thinks Saluki's a girl. And its going to look even more like a gay forum.

Put back that avatar or we are going to have to deal with this the Frat way.

Besides, your real picture was quite cute. And if we are going to change our avatars every day, its going to turn into a joke. At the moment its highly mature and sensible.

Funny you should say that. I'm a bit sensitive in that department, as it's happened to me (being stalked), but like with a real person and not some virtual reality stalker. And in my previous career I was one of the only females around and many, many, many guys take friendliness as an open invitation, even when you hit them with a 2x4 between the eyes (literally).

I purposely used Marge Simpson for a while, because it made it more obvious that I was not a guy, but it didn't give me any undue attention. I really don't want to give the wrong impression. I love to joke around, but there are too many weirdos out there. And I cannot tell you HOW MANY TIMES I have drilled it into my kids to never never never never give personal details online.

And I have no freakin' idea how many other people are reading this and getting stupid ideas!

Remember, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean everyone's not out to get you....

When I came into this forum I was fairly confident I wanted to stay anonymous. And then trying to be funny, I let a picture and Seattle out of the bag. Not that there is any problem with that. It's just funny how you say things you don't really intend to, forgetting that 1000 people could read it as you post or on the archive over the next few years (somehow I don't think that's likely). And I think the risk of someone stalking me is slightly less than your risk.

I get your point. There's no need to post anything personal. So what does your street look like?

I find it difficult to imagine what that must be like, being stalked by someone. I did talk to an amiable guy in a bar in London once, who finished off by asking if I wanted to sleep with him. I didn't get any clues. Did I look gay to him?? I suddenly realized what girls/ladies have to go through all the time - "Is this guy really being friendly or does he want to hit on me?"

In my case, the guy didn't even have the courtesy to call me after I left his room the next day.

I'm not gay though......I've just slept with a lot of guys who were.
