Funny, Sigma Chi almost burnt their house down the EXACT same way. Are you sure your not talking about Sigma Chi? Or maybe Phi Kappa Theta? I think they had a similiar incident. I was actually a lil' sis there and those knuckleheads ruined the whole thing for us. They did away with the lil' sys program my sophmore year if I recall correctly.

The two date rape cases in the course of a year is what was the straw that broke the camel's back for Sigma Chi.

But, you're right. Many houses were getting into trouble during that era. A few lost their charters during my tenure. As such, don't know the status of the ranking of size of collegiate Greek towns anymore.

But, when I was there the ranking was Ohio, Illinois then Mizzou. 50 someodd frats and 30 someodd sororities for Mizzou.

Since I can no longer say M-I-Z . . . with merit (for football anyway)

Ahhh....the stress of having to get the decorations up in time...only superceded by the stress of having to take them down in time.
